Yes! We warmly welcome new feline patients. We recommend booking online or calling ahead to confirm availability. New patient appointments are slightly longer so we can properly meet your cat and build a complete health history.
Cats experience significant stress in multi-species environments. The sounds, scents, and sight of dogs spike stress hormones, making exams harder and results less reliable. Our cat-only space removes those stressors entirely — visits are calmer for your cat and more effective for us.
Leave the carrier out a few days before the appointment so your cat can explore it freely. Place a familiar blanket inside and consider a pheromone spray (like Feliway) 30 minutes before travel. Avoid feeding 2–3 hours before if sedation or procedures may be needed.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac debit, and cash. We also work with many pet insurance providers — ask our team about direct billing options. Payment is due at time of service.
We reserve a limited number of same-day sick appointments for urgent non-emergency situations. Call us first thing in the morning and we'll do our best to fit you in. For after-hours emergencies, please contact an emergency animal hospital in Hamilton.
Healthy adult cats benefit from annual wellness exams. Kittens under one year and senior cats over seven should visit every six months. Cats age significantly faster than humans — regular check-ups help catch issues early when treatment is most effective.
